How do they do a root canal on a top tooth? I ask because I'm wondering if the patient has to lie in the chair in a very awkward position so that the dentist can get access to the tooth.

I was literally about to cry when started watching the video, they put anesthesia needles 3 times into my enamels and I was feeling pain because of the countless needle inserted to my tooth nerves. They had to postpone it to the next week, now I understand everything. It will be worse next week 😢

I remember getting my mouth nummed and a tooth pulled years ago, and that was painless aside from the needle. Now I'm probably going to have 2 root canals done, and I am NOT looking forward to it... I know that it probably won't be as painful as my anxiety says, but I'm still horrified to be honest.

At 48, luckily with only 1 cavity in my mouth, I had to get this done because of a root infection. With no prior experience I was pretty shocked, but thankfully my dentist treated me very well. Thanks for the video!

I have two implants. Around 6000 per tooth. Another 1800 for sedation. Worth every penny. Just keep up on your flossing and brushing though, you need healthy gums to hold the implant in place.

I would have not said that you are going to be using a huge needle lol doesn't help those with dental phobia. You should of used a short needle but you probably did that so people can see. 25 yrs ago I was offered this surgery and I refused due to being scarred of side effect. I now regret not doing it because I never smile in pictures!

Your experience is basically the same as mine ! My orthodontist also pushed my teeth to the front to make it look like I have a normal bite. My surgeon told me he will first make my upper jaw wider, making it possible for my front teeth to go further back, after that he will perform a surgery to push my jaw forward. I look forward to it even though it is going to be uncomfortable. Can’t wait to be able to breathe through my nose and have a balanced face.
